Pet Bed

I have a 6 lb teacup poodle, spoiled, of course. His bed was worn out. I decided to make him one for his 13th birthday. I realize this won't work for heavier dogs, but it should be perfect for my fur baby.
The Cuties box was free. A trip to Hobby Lobby, and $20 supplied the rest.
I cut the tabs off the top of the box then covered the bottom and long edges in fabric.
While the fabric dried I painted the candlestick cups.
I folded and glued, like wrapping a gift.
I let it sit about five minutes.
I used Gorilla super glue to attach the candlestick cup "legs", solid side down.
I had two old pillows and put them in one pillow case for the bed. This will make it easy to wash.
Casper loves his new bed. The bling hearts didn't show up as good as I had hoped, but Casper doesn't seem to mind.
Suggested materials:
  • Strong cardboard box, a yard of fabric (on sale), raw candlestick cups, craft paint, bling stick on heats (clearance) and E6000 spray adhesive.   (Hobby Lobby)
  • Two old pillows, one old pillowcase and gorilla super glue.

Looks like "airline pillows" might be the right size for this project?

Did you cover the inside of the box on the bottom with that fabric also?
