Choose the color
We ordered the cocoa color from Amazon because our local hardware store did not stock this.
Other important supplies
Additionally, we ordered the de-greaser and the sprayer.
We also purchased a concrete sealant that was rated for food grade service at Greenrose when we purchased the concrete.

All totaled, we spent about $100.
Taping, the critical step
Make sure this is secure. This stuff is not forgiving.
Wipe the surface down completely after set up
Spray
We used the sprayer and started at the top. It was a very yellow color to start. The color changed dramatically several times during the application.
First coat
We did two coats of the acid etch.
Completely coat and let it soak
Use the de-greaser.
Do not skip this step!
Let it dry
Let it dry completely then add the sealant.
Colors change
The colors continue to change as it dries.
After 4 days
Finished project
We love this!
And we would do it again!

What was the exact sealer you used? How did you apply it and do you like It? I'm trying to seal my kitchen island we made with concrete and not having very much luck.

    Your bar looks beautiful!

    Thank-you
