What is the best way to clean brick floors?
We recently purchased a home that has real brick floors in the foyer, hall and sunroom - not sure whether to damp mop with only water, use a special cleaner, etc.?
You can use hot water and vinegar solution or hot water and a mild soap (like baby shampoo). The water doesn't have to be boiling but warmer than room temperature. Mop small areas at a time and dry the floor if the water doesn't evaporate within 10 minutes. You can also use Wiki-how for other types of ways to clean it
Use the Laminate floor care system by Bona
Hi Carol,
I use a steam Mop. If there is something sticky on it I squirt it with white vinegar and it comes right up with the steam mop. Easiest floors in the world to take care of .
Best to you,
Susie
Thank you for your answers
I would not use water if the floors have a wood veneer. Use a Bona product and spray the Bona on a microfiber cloth and push it with a swifter type mop.
