Easiest way to remove paint on beer bottle cans????

  • Sorry, a little confused, beer bottles or cans? Not sure you can do anything about cans.

    Try metholated spirit not mineral terps as it may remove the design off the can. Try a bit on an old can first. I have herd of pens used to re move texta from clothes but haven't tried them yet. Your hardware store should be able to advise you. Kay Adelaide Australia

    cans are thin plastic "covers" so an "Box knife" or an Xacto knife will do the job. Find the seam and start there. Sometimes I start with the knife and then just pull until I get it all off. (I like the challenge of doing that.). Sometimes I have to use the knife during the process. It should be easy once you get it started. No nasty chemicals; just be careful with the knife. A SHARP small utility knife will also work.

    If it is a can you can always paint them, (spray paint). If it is a bottle with a paper label soaking them in warm water will do the trick.
