You can try hydrogen peroxide- apply it, allow it to bubble, and then brush it off with a wet scrub brush or sponge. Good luck!!

In my mind when I here black stains on wood or other sidings, mold comes to mind.

i have found the easiest way to kill mold is by spraying on Clorox. Try it in one spot and see if you like it. Keep in mind that bleach will also whiten most woods.

Use a push broom with any kind of cleaner. Dawn dish soap works well. Dip the broom in a bucket of cleaner and brush the siding. Rinse with the hose. My daughter and son-in-law recently moved into our new home and the side was so dirty. We gave each of the kids assorted brushes and a bucket of soapy Dawn and they had a blast and we got the work done !
