Diazinon, something like that. But it has to be placed outside where they come in. Tiny ants are usually grease ants. I put some in a bottle cap and set it under my humming bird feeder. Works. Also there is a spray that you spray the entrances to your house and the creatures will not cross it. Die on contact. Can't remember the name of that, but RAID makes it. Hope this helps, but wash the places you think they are coming in with ammonia water and get it cleaned up. We can't see what they are coming in for, so ammonia water as a cleaner should help too.

I would call an exterminator who can spray professional strength ant killer in needed areas. We had ant invasions every spring in the kitchen of our previous house and this is what we ended up doing (after trying several different types of ant killers) which got rid of the ants.

Mix Boraxo and powdered sugar together. Put in middle of ant trail. Bingo whole nest will be gone in two weeks...forever.

You don't even have to poison the buggers. Cinnamon placed in the corners and by entrances will disrupt their scent trails. I put some in my cupboards during an infestation, and saw little tiny carcasses with legs in the air.

There are several non-toxic options you can look try: vinegar, peppermint oil, cinnamon, black pepper, cayenne pepper, whole cloves, and bay leaves. They will disrupt the pheromone trail and prevent the ants from entering your home.

go online and order Advion Ant Gel. If the ants are inside your home put down a few drops of this gel. Allow them to "swarm" to the gel and eat it. May take 2 days. Then, they will carry i t back to the nest and be gone for many weeks. should they come back. bait them again.~

Put out a small amount of cornmeal. They will eat it and carry it back to the nest for the others to eat. Ants cannot digest it so the colony will eventually die off.
