What is an inexpensive way to make a dirt driveway look attractive?

We have an ugly dirt driveway between our house and the neighbors house that cannot be paved due to utility lines that run underground which require accessability. Grass is not an option because it's parked on and driven on. Any ideas?

Line driveway with a choice of one of these bricks/concrete blocks/outdoor 4/4 lumber/ then place potted plants on top. In winter use shephard hook stakes and hang with wind-chimes.

could also include chimes/hooks with potted plants.

I would line it with stone/pavers and use what's called grinds. You can find them fairly cheap I believe. It's the ground up asphalt from when they are repaving. it just lays down and has a black/gray look. It can easily be dug up. I would put down the stone/paver edge to keep it contained. Good luck.
