How do I clean my kitchen gas top? I have tried oven cleaner

baking soda with a little water scrub with wet dish cloth, wipe clean.

You can buy "Glass Cook Top" cleaner in any store. One brand I have is "Weiman".

Make a paste of dishwasher powder, cover with a thick layer of wet paper towels. Keep the paper towels pretty damp with a spray bottle (i.e., don't let the paste dry out). Should be able to scrub off stains in about 5 -6 hours. Works on just about anything with burned on stains, including cookware.

I use the glass cook top cleaner. Put it on thick then cover with a damp paper towel for a couple of hours.

Okay , just for clarification , gas or glass ? Makes a difference to me .
