Depending on size of door, mix about a cup of white vinegar and 2 teaspoons of baking soda into a paste (add more vinegar if too thick), wet glass then wipe mixture onto glass with a sponge, cloth or anything then let it soak for a few minutes. Hose off with shower rose if you have or use a bucket of clean warm water and wipe off.

Heating vinegar seems to increase the cleaning power. Heat some in microwave( very warm but not too hot) and add several squirts of dawn. With a sponge, mix the 2 ingredients without causing too much foam and sponge onto shower doors. You can leave it for awhile and come back to wipe it off and rinse. Use a non scratch scrubber or even a toothbrush for the tougher areas. This even removed mildew for me, as well as soap scum. (The vinegar smell will fade- don't worry!)

Use a product called Bartender's Friends. You may need a couple of applications, but your shower door will clean up like it is brand new. We had VERY hard water (living in the mountains) and didn't have a water softener. The glass doors looked like they were etched glass. After a couple of applications of this, (with gloved hands), the doors looked like they had never been showered in. It is available at Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart in the cleaner aisle.

I rented an apartment which had a very bad shower door, and nothing would move it. In the end I sprayed it with Oven cleaner - wear a mask ! It worked like a charm, and I never needed to do it again, as I regularly wiped it down. Good luck !

If you can find Lemon Soft scrub it's in the dishwasher isle or just use Lemon cut in half rub it on.. Comet or like wise will scratch the glass. After you get it clean use glass wax or car wax on the glass rub it and buff it out. Leaves a coating on the glass.. New glass showers now have an option for baked on coating.

I keep a bottle of Clorax. Cleanup in my shower. After I shower I spray. Cleaner on all surfaces of tube/shower enclousure. Let it sit say 10 minutes. I then take a cleaning brush to scrub down in rinse well.

Once u clean first to.e scrubbing well then I just spay on 2-3 times a week. I just. Make sure to rinse well prior to next shower as it will be slippery. If that Dorset work try Line away. Cleaner on glass d[rd. Scrub well sponge with. Scrubber on one side. This should get the limb scale off glass doors. Then use Clorax cleanup again. It will help with the lime milky build up non shower doors. However, wear old work clothes, the bleach WILL ruin your clothes. Good luck hope this helps. Usins 2- times a week really is and very easy to maintain with spray bottle left in shower.

Not sure if the product CLR is available in the USA. It is a liquid product that removes calcium, lime & rust. It works excellent. I just pour onto a cleaning cloth & wipe down, then rinse with cool water. It is recommended for a lot of cleaning jobs. Especially the bathroom. Hands down the best cleaner & you don't have to use a lot of muscle or any muscle to get great results!

Go with the vinegar+baking soda suggestions. For example, I salvaged some diverter valves from the tub (you know the pull out deal you pull out that diverts water from the tub fill to shower) by soaking the assembly in vinegar for about 30 min. Saved me 30$. The stuff that clogged the diverter valve is the same stuff on your walls...calcium from hard water.

Use a green scourer with a bit of washing up liquid. Rub round the whole door, bringing up the soap scum, Rinse the door with the shower and then wipe all the soap off that's left with an old towel to polish and make the glass shine. I was told this method by someone who cleaned in a hotel. It works every time for me and it's very quick.

I use baking soda, vinegar, and dawn as a paste. With a scrub brush, go over thoroughly and let sit for about 15 minutes, then hose off thoroughly. The trick is to remove as much water as possible. I keep a squeegy on a command hook to wipe down the doors. Leave the doors open so that they can air dry... Good luck...

Add equal parts blue Dawn dish soap and white vinegar to a spray bottle. Spray shower glass thoroughly, soap for 1 hour, and clean with a non-scratch sponge using the scrubby side. Works the best of anything I've ever tried. Be sure to have good ventilation, too, as the smell is rather strong.

Get rid of grime on the interior of your glass shower door by following these simple steps:

    1. Mix one part vinegar with two parts distilled water in an empty spray bottle and shake well.
    2. Spray the surface of the shower door with the solution and let it work its magic for 10 minutes.
    3. Use a microfiber sponge to wipe away the grime. If you see streaks once the door has dried, use your microfiber cloth to buff them out in a circular motion.
