    Vinegar in a spray bottle, we use it on clumps of weds but be careful it kills everything. something stronger is a mixture of 2 parts vinegar, 2 parts Epson salts, 1 part glad dish soap and 3 parts water. You can buy vinegar in a gallon jug.

  • If you are willing to go the extra mile, get "cleaning vinegar" - some grocery stores carry it, but can also be found in hardware and home improvement and janitorial supply stores. You will need to wait a season and add a good bit of compost to the soil before replanting in that area but so worth it to get rid of poison ivy.
