Planting lilies indoors- Can I transplant when weather is suitable?

I bought lily bulbs but it is too early to plant outdoors (still have snow on the ground). Can I plant them indoors and transplant when weather is suitable?

I would wait until you can plant them outside.Store them in a cool area.

Yes, you can. Be careful not to put them out too early, like now, would be ok., if you have them in a protected area, or next to a shrub, for protection. They are lovely, and add so much to your yard. I would put a stick next to it, so you can cover them in leaves and soil in the fall, for protection for winter. If you do have the shrub next to it, it will add more protection thru the winter. Best wishes, J.
