I vacuumed my car the other day.. and surprise! I found a bunch of ants under the back seat. They were attracted by some kind of food, I vacuummed all out... but a week later they were back at the same spot... how can I get rid of them?

Purchase some Borax ( in the laundry section of the supermarket) and place about 2 tablespoons in an open container close to the infestation. As long as you take precautions to keep children and pets from ingesting Borax, this procedure is relatively safe to use. The ants carry the Borax back to the hill and this works to eliminate future ants from leaving the hill.

It might be from something left in the car and that only takes one to spread the news. Set off an ant bomb at night, open up after four hours and you'll be fine.

I agree with the ant bomb idea, also, check where you are parking, there may be a nest somewhere and they are attracted to something in your car. You will see a line of ants marching up into your car, kill them at their source. Is it possible something is spilled on your carpet/floor? Wash it thoroughly and maybe put some type of deterrant such as orange oil or other anti-ant remedy.

Buy the little round ant traps, the ants go in but can't get out, and because they are sealed they are both kid and pet friendly.you can get them at your local dollar store or hardware store.

Had ants along the top of my back splash. Sprayed one time with Raid Ant & Roach spray. Just spray and let alone for a couple days then clean as usual. No more ants.

Set a bug bomb off in overnight while you're sleeping, then open it up when you get up to air it out.

Ants lay a chemical trail when they find food back to their colony. You need to disrupt this trail,,, if a garage floor hose out with cleaner. Or you can get a non-toxic ant repeller like Vicktor's that has peppermint oil in it I would spray the door opening floor trim with it.

You can also dust the trail with borax if you can see a trail of ants. They also make those disks with an ant colony destroyer.

Ants eat the bait and when they go back to the colony it kills it,
