I've recently made the decision to go online with floral wreaths (artificial materials) that I create for sale. I would so appreciate any advice that you could offer. What are your opinions on Etsy, Amazon, EBay?...is creating a website the way to get started?...do you think the internet is the way to go? As I said, any info will be so helpful. Thanks and hugs to all!

One of the members of the Hometalk community seems to be selling wreaths - here is the link to one of her posts: http://www.hometalk.com/browser?link=http://www.virginiasweetpea.com/2012/11/six-christmas-wreaths-to-i I would try to contact her and see if she can offer any ideas. There are some lovely wreaths that have been posted on Hometalk - all the very best of luck!

Sally, I'll tag @SweetPea Paula for you so she gets a message to take a look at your question - that's the best way to grab a Hometalker's attention. Good luck!

@SweetPea Paula My sincere apologies for not tagging you - an oversight on my part. I had assumed that you made the wreaths professionally as they are so beautiful.

Dawn: Thanks so much for your reply! It's because I'm so new at all this "high tech"stuff that any info is invaluable to me.Do you think I could sell the wreaths on Facebook without getting involved in all the bothersome Etsy, Amazon, etc. details? Thanks again!

Sally, there is a app that you can add to a facebook page to sell right on FB. It takes a lot of work to have your goods seen online. You can start local by doing craft shows, local food markets etc and starting a FB page so you get the online presence.

@Sally holway Glad I could help! Also selling on Etsy is easy to start a shop, but the same thing, it is hard to get your shop noticed unless you devote a lot of time to the shop. Selling on Etsy can be very effective as long as you have time to devote to building the business online. Would love to see pictures on some of your work when you get a chance!

good luck, some people have luck on Etsy, but local is sometimes best, people see it, want it, word of mouth, great way to advertise.

If you have a local flea market or craft style one it would also be a place to sell at. Good luck.
