How can I get rid of slugs in my lawn and garden?

    apply diatomaceous earth,corn meal,or place dishes of beer in the garden to drown them

    Sink some plates or bowls in the ground level with the surface. Pour some beer in. The yeast attracts the slugs. They drink their fill and drown.

    Crumbled up eggshells have sharp edges & slugs will stay away if you sprinkle the shells in the garden.

    I put pine cones around my Hostas.

    I agree with Carole and the crumpled egg shells; they last the longest because the rain doesn't wash them away. I have also used ashes from a charcoal grill.

  • Spread Epsom Salts - The coarseness of Epsom salts cut the slugs as they crawl across it and they'll die. Works for me

    Bonus, plants like Epsom Salts
