What to do with empty powder drink containers?
I have about 200 empty powder drink containers with lids. there are 4 different shapes from different brands. Looking for ideas to repurpose.
I don't think it will look the same, especially if they are plastic - you can't nail them to the wall without them splitting either. We did our using plywood strips. If you can't cut the plywood yourself - buy it at Home Depot (or another store) and have them cut the plywood sheets in to 3", 4", or 5" strips (whichever you prefer). Here are some photos of ours:
You may be able to pre-drill the blinds without them splitting.
Try attaching a slat to scrap wood using small brads (nails) or a nailgun. Another option is liquid nails. There were two other projects called mini ship lap: one was using paint stirrers with the curvy part cut off, the other was using wood lath, thin wood strips that are used in plaster walls. Both are thin woods.
