That is a lot of color! White woodwork would work(gee, that is tongue twister) best. The most important thing to remember is to keep these all pretty much in the same value. Hues will be either blue or yellow undertone..warm or cool. Keep them the same. Sounds as though you would be using all warm tones. Another thing would be to repeat the color from room to room. For example, apricot seats on the dining chairs in the green dining room. If the dining room is part of or can bee seen from the living room I would do it the same. Green is tricky. remember, you have to have blue to get green yet you need yellow under tones. I would probably paint the hallway an off white or a lighter version of the the living room.
My suggestion to you is to pick out colors you think you like and bring home swatches first. You will be very surprised t the difference of color variation once you get in your own home. Color choices are very personal, all we can do is advise the hopefully right way to go about it.
Janet's suggestion is good. And Jayne's about carrying the color from one room to the next and values. I would buy the small cans of paint and paint about a 1' x 2' white poster board, then thumbtack it to the wall. Move it from place to place during the day and observe how the color changes as the light changes. This should help you decide on what colors you really like. I'd say paint the bedrooms whatever color you want; the "public rooms" may take a little more thought. I've noticed decorating articles range from one color for the entire house (to tie it together and perhaps make furnishings easier to move between rooms) to painting each room a different color. Do what makes you happy and glad to be home at the end of the day! Good luck!
if there is a door to each room, any color works. As suggested white trim in all the rooms ties them together. If your living room and dining room are the open plan you can still use different colors but keep them light and use material that will pull one room into the other. If they are separate but can still be seen from the other still try decor that will pull them together.
You will be looking at this everyday. I suggest paint with a neutral color and decorate with the colors each of you like in your room. I've looked at rooms on line with house for sale. The colored rooms personally turn me off. The neutral colors can go with anything.
