I have a large pvc Grecian style urn that has no drainage holes in the bottom. Should I put some in or just put some rocks in the bottom before filling with soil and plants

It is always best to have drainage holes.Putting rocks in the planter will create to much moisture leading to potential root rot.

All pots must have drainage ... just like a human. I also put gravel in the bottom of the pot, or bark, to help the drainage. Then I use the potting soil. ALWAYS remember, tho you must drain the larger pot, so this OLD water will not collect and reach the good pot, that has your item in it. Best wishes, J.

put your plant in a smaller container that has holes then place it into the large urn
