I use 0000 steel wool. It's wonderful and doesn't scratch the glass.

    Scum comes off easily!

Lysol spray foam does the trick for me. Spray on and use a little scrub brush and rinse with cold water.....Voila!

Once you have the door clean, use a squeegee or windshield cleaner every single time anyone uses the shower. We got ours at an auto parts store for one dollar, and it has lasted eleven years so far. We have zero soap scum on the two glass walls. Once a month, I spray all the tiles and frames with a vinegar or bleach spray, and use a soft scrubber. Less often, I clean the inside of the glass doors with simple shampoo, a soft sponge and lots of rinsing. I clean the outsides with Windex, just to remove any dust. But the secret is that plastic windshield cleaner.

Once you get it clean use car wax on it, you won't have to squeege it as the water will just roll off.

Once you get it clean ( I suggest vinegar), use RainX on the glass and I second the suggestion of a squeegee.
