I need quick and easy projects on decorating our mail box, front porch, & handicap ramp. The porch itself is narrow but long & I can't use decorations on the ramp that might hinder the use of a walker or wheelchair. Thanks!

Flowers in pots placed in various spots are always an easy and colorful decoration. You can paint the mailbox. Mail carriers don't like flowers around them because of bees.

Is the top railing wide enough for planters? There are planters specially built to fit/sit on railingS. You co also place the planter box, attach it to the railing with bolts, then plant it.

Paint the ramp with a nice design. Paint each board a different color. Hanging baskets are an inexpensive improvement, but make them up yourself. Get the baskets from the dollar store.

Paint is a good way to start... Nothing looks more appealing than a Nicely painted Railings,, couple big pots of Flowers ( Pots can be as simple as Plastic Buckets, Metal Pails or Tubs...Remember to drill several small holes in bottoms for Drainage.. Several bright chairs and small side Tables on a outdoor rug on the porch, with hanging baskets with flowers or Vines and some Wind chimes at the corners.. You can always plant flowers or vines in Old Work boots, Cowboy boots, tennis Shoes, or High Heels.. ( think Yard Sale finds ). or even Hang some lacy Curtains at the corners of the Porch , if there is a window , then hang the lacy drapes there ... and hold sides back with Old Glass Door knobs.. How about Red white and blue or A flag hung on wall on porch.. and paint the ramp the same colors..
