I moved from NJ to White Haven, PA. I am afraid to plant annuals too soon. It gets cool here at night.

It is still to early for annuals. Rule of thumb is after Mothers day usually the threat of frost is over.

Hi Janet Pizaro !(from a native Long Islander also from Ridge,NY) I now live in Virginia frim Long Island recently. The "Mother's Day Rule" stands firm when it comes to planting annuals. If you plant too soon and there's a frost, all your money & time will be for naught as they will freeze overnight & you will lose everything!
