What kind of paint is best for an entry table remake?
I purchased a used and abused entry way table and want to give it that beachy look, what kind of paint do I use and how do I get it to look professionally done?

How about white washing it.
Preparation is KEY to having a beautiful end product. Sand it down and finish sanding with 400 grit paper. Make sure it is VERY clean (tack cloth) before staining or painting. For a beachy look I would either whitewash or paint with satin or flat in a color that coordinates with your decor and then distress slightly with high grit sand paper OR whitewash and lightly dry brush a decor coorinated color, then spray with a couple coats of poly in your desired finish. Have fun with it and make it your own...you can't go wrong.
