I have an OLD ANTIQUE printers drawer - what can I do with it ???

Generally hung up on a wall - and being it has all these cubby holes in them (where the type set was stored) - people usually fill them with small items - any other ideas as what I can do with it and/or embellish it somewhat ???

I would look on Pinterest, I am sure you will find a lot of creative ideas.

  • If you feel ambitious, and are handy (or have someone handy to help you) You could use it as a table top with a piece of glass over the top.

If you want to use it for display of coin, stamps, or anything else small it would be great. I personally like the table idea. And printer's tables are beautiful just hung up by themselves because of their antique appearance.

If the picture above is what a printer's drawer is, you have yourself a wonderful drawer divider, the storage options are endless and you could even use it in the garage to store bits, nails, screws, clips etc...

If you make the table I would find colorful things to put in just a few of the spaces! I would hang it on a wall, and fill several of the spaces with blocks cut to fit, each of a different exotic wood.
