How to build a free floating deck on uneven ground?

I want to build a deck for my aboveground swimming pool that can be dismantled for winter. My yard is very uneven. The pool is 16'x 4'. I was thinking cement deck blocks with 4 x 4 post to level it & build the deck with 2 x 4's. Is there a way to do this in sections in order to dismantle in the fall?

Check what the codes are for that kind of deck. At that height, your idea would make the deck unstable and an accident waiting to happen. 2X4's are not structurly sound for a deck.

I agree 2x4s won't hold the weight of all that water. Each gallon of water weights 8.34 pounds, check the total # gals for your pool and multiply. Then add the weight of max. # people in that pool. Plus your going to have shifting water creating g-forces.

    I'm thinking angle iron beams.

I would have an engineer check your plans. Try your local metalwork shop, see if they can refer you to someone.
