Shed Reveal - She Shed or Man Space?

Biscuits & Burlap
by Biscuits & Burlap
In an earlier post we showed the old detached garage on our property and how we had spruced up the outside. Reader input on how to continue with improving the interior led us to this fun project. Not intended to be She Shed or Man Space we ended up with a shed "virtually" divided, so we both have room for our projects.
The inside looked like this (double ugh!)
As our house was being built we had new siding and brick foundation added. Those beautiful doors were constructed by our carpenter and they are heavy!
But, cute as it was on the outside, it was still like this on the inside.
We cleared it out, insulated the walls and added sheetrock to the top and beadboard (for durability) to the bottom.
Everything got a fresh coat of paint.
Foam board insulation went on the backs of those big doors.
Heavy duty plastic shelving and a wall unit hvac system.
Come to the blog for details on the products we used and how I got these stubborn bumper stickers off the windows!
Never intending to divide it, when we moved everything back in it just sort of fell in place like this.
Fun lights on the outside were the finishing touch!

Since you have had this done does it create a problem for the 2 of you to work in there? I had hoped for my own personal space where I could do my things in peace. We have a huge she'd and I had a loft area so we could use that for storage and I could have the downstairs. Hasn't worked out that way yet. But I plan on having some stairs put in so that the upstairs can be properly organized and I can have my space. I do love how organized everything is in the shed and I hope that you both get pleasure out of using it.
