In a sandy soil & lots of sun....best way to get flowers to flourish?

    Add amendments to your soil.Garden soil,lime,and peat moss.

    Mulch, mulch, mulch. Use anything that will decompose into your soil, newspaper, cardboard, straw, leaves, aged manure, compost, etc. You can always use an attractive mulch on top. This will keep water from evaporating ( a problem for sandy soils) and feed your soil. Feed your soil and let the soil feed your plants.

    Use plants that are drought and heat tolerant. You can only do so much to fool mother nature.

    I would till in some compost and a lot of mulch on top
