Smotherthe plant. This is best accomplished in early spring just as the plant is beginning to sprout. If it’s done any later, the larger plants will need to be cut as close to the ground as possible. Place some landscaping cloth, cardboard, a tarp, or several layers of moistened newspapers over top and cover this with anything from mulch to gravel, or whatever will hold it firmly in place. Leave this in place for at least one growing season, at which time the sprouts (and roots) should be dead. The area can then be cleaned up and replanted with something else or left as is.

Find someone who wants them and give them free if they dig them all out. Have to get all the roots. Then put down plastic or newspaper to get the leftovers.

If they are already up so you can see them all, as in full grown, Dig them up. Make sure you dig deep and a good space around them so that you know you get them all. This way you can use the space right away rather than having to wait a season. I did this last year with Ferns and Lily Of The Valley when we took out all the front shrubs and put down tiles to have a place to sit out front in the evening. I just relocated mine to the other side of the front steps where I put in a large hosta bed to fill in the corner by the steps. On the side that has the end table and love seat I put two half barrels to put some color on the empty ends.

You would have to dig up all of the bulbs and remember they split so dig around the area to make sure you got them all

Why get rid of them. They smell so good and don't take much room. They make nice bridal bouquets. I love them, but live in Florida where they don't grow.
