Have you ever fertilized them?
I read that they can become invasive. That said, there are fertilizers made for the purpose of producing more flowers. If they are growing in a contained area that won't allow them to spread, they may be root bound.
my Mother had a bed of these and would thin them out every year to keep them blooming.
