Idea for stepping stones in area that gets little sun?

Do you want to plant in-between the stepping stones?
I used concrete flat squares as base and glued on broken pieces of Mexican tile and grout ed them.
Have you tried the wooly thyme? It's a great ground cover and smells amazing when you step on it and doesn't need a lot of sun

Then fill in between with either gravel or wooly thyme (suggested above).
