Window well decoration- looking for ideas...

Californians getting a home in Colorado. First time deal with window wells. Haven't found anything so far that rocks our boat

    there are cheap and expensive just depends on what you are looking for. If you will have to deal with heavy snow you may want something that will be sturdy and not break with the weight.

    If they don't have covers get some. The first time I had window wells I didn't know that small critters could fall in and not get out. After the baby possum I had to rescue, we covered the tops. You could then decorate them with terrarium type small plants, make a fairy garden, the ideas are endless. Just don't block the light. Good luck in Colorado and post pictures of your decorated wells!

    I lined mine with ivy vine wall paper. It really freshened up the room when the drapes were open and lasted a long time.

    Spruce them up and make them part of your decor! Add plants, rocks, etc to create a window well garden.
