Small slug like bugs on my bell pepper plants- what can I do?

Spray them down with horticultural oil. Apply food grade diatomsceous earth around the base of the plants.

I have had good results with diatomaceous earth as well....

you could try spraying dawn dish detergent mixed with water, slippery bugs like slugs have trouble staying on plants with a soapy layer on the plants

Put down a outer "fence" of tiny pieces of eggshells. They will not cross it.

I know with slugs you can put salt around the base the base of the plant. If it is slugs also or snails u can actually pour the salt directly on them. And they will MELT!

I spray with diluted dish soap and also crumble dried chrysanthemum around them
