When is the best time of the year to plant trees, grass, shurbs?

    Since your location what not specified heres a general rule of thumb...If you ground is workable early spring is a good time for planting trees and shrubs.As for the grass Fall is actually a better time to grow grass seed,however if you want to start here are the steps.Lawn seeding....Apply top soil,lime,seeds,starter fertilizer and top with peat's,keep moist until the seed germinates.

      Lucky you...Its still chilly here in NY strange spring. Ok so just make sure when you plant do it early in the morning before the heat set in if possible,
