Hi Eugene, I would clean it first with dilute laudry soap and baking soda water...blott it mostly dry and don't leave it soapy...(if it seems soapy rinse with clear water then blot mostly dry) Then use a pet urine product to treat the area. There are many different kinds available. I use Nature's Miracle Advanced Formula sever stain and odor formula. This stuff WORKs. I got mine on Amazon. I use it on rugs, have used it on the sofa, it removed the urine smell and deters the dog from going again on the item.

Make a mixture of white vinegar and water 50/50,spray the soiled area, apply baking soda, leave on long enough for the stain to come to the surface and blot off and allow to air dry.

Ok hears the trick. Used 2 cups of peroxide and 4 tablespoons of baking soda and 2 drops of dawn dish soap, put in a spray bottle but make sure you take the filter off of the spray bottle, if you unscrew the top an remove the tube the filter is on the bottom, remove it cause the baking soap will clog it an it wont spray, spray on the area with urine completely an walk away for 15 minutes, when you go back just blot with a rag. This mixture will remove the urine, the odor, an the stain. Have fun!

I washed mine with dish detergent and water. Then I poured white vinegar directly on the stain. White vinegar gets the smell out every time. And don;t worry about the smell, it goes away as it dries.
