Depending on what kind of lamp there is always a way to take the lamp apart probably from the base, then get in there with the vaccum cleaner hose an you should be in good shape. Good Luck!
Need pictures , what kind of lamp is it.
I use a hand vacuum. Be sure to hold it upright until you empty it or the bugs may fall out.
