You will have to dig them out and replant in another location.
Replant somewhere else or give them away.
you can also dig them up, replace a smaller section, then repot pieces and share with other gardeners.
Sometimes even digging them up won't work. You can decide what you want to keep and cover the rest with black plastic for a season. This will also sterilize the soil in case of a disease.
