There are a variety of ways to label a mason jar. There are, additionally, templates for labels online that you can print off on to sticker paper. You can also get a small stencil for a label and paint the front of the mason jar with chalkboard paint, and that way, should you ever need to put something else in the jar, you can just erase what was on the label and then put the new contents on the label after erasing.

We found some cute chalkboard sticker labels at the Dollar Store! You can even buy chalkboard paint to paint the container you are using to hold the sugar scrub and write a label after it dries. Or you can write a label on a piece of paper and tie it around the lid of the container with twine, yarn, or other string! You can use any color or pattern of paper to make it unique and fun!

I am loving the chalkboard labels at Hobby Lobby or Michaels these days. That way, the recipient can reuse the jar And label!

I like the idea of using painters tape to tape of a rectangle , then paint with chalkboard paint. The label will never peel off and it can be erased when the jar is used for something else .
