Sounds like you are overwatering the plant.Re-pot in orchis medium only and make use it is planted in a orchid pot. Allow to re-adapt before applying fertilizer.

NO! Distilled water is NOT good for orchids...it's NOT GOOD for any living thing as it is completely devoid of essential minerals!

Give the orchids an ice cube size of water ONCE a week. You can even put an ice cube right on the soil.

I repot mine in Orchid Soil, easy to find (Home Depot/Lowes/Amazon...etc.)

    Good Luck!

I do not recommend the ice cube method. Plants like tepid water.

my orchids bloom almost continually for a good four months and all I do is add two ice cubes to the pot once a week. I have had them for more than two years and they are still very healthy.

We have orchids in woody orchid medium, they are double potted. Once a week we fill the pots with water and let it sit to soak up the water, take innermost out and let it drain, drain the outer pot, then put them back together. We have gorgeous flowers for months using this method.

No full strength fertilizer. Must be diluted.
