Learn my easy technique for painting faux agate on wood slices to make chic side tables!
I used Walnut Hollow Basswood Country Rounds (THICK) to make these side tables. They were so easy to paint and had just the right heft for this project.
Watch exactly how they're made here!
Americana Glazing Medium mixed with Americana Acrylics made the perfect top coat to create the uniform lines around the faux agate. Notched cardboard was perfect for the combed lines. Make sure to have some printed agate slices for inspiration as you're working. Also, the Glaze Coat was the perfect epoxy resin to coat these beauties and make them sing!
All set up in my living room!
