Years ago I had a old wooden chair, I decided to decoupage it, carefully choosing small relevant pictures, I stuck them on with normal craft glue, then painted the whole thing with clear matt varnish. My theme was children and Birthdays, once finished I name it "The Birthday Chair" (intending to amuse my Grandchildren)
but some adults ask for a turn on their Birthday! If this ides isn't for you I hope you find how to proceed soon Kind Regards Loraine

Hang a chair on a wall, add a stack of books, or a floral arrangement, even a couple of antique toys!
If your artistic paint a picture on the top and cover the chair with flowers.
