I use a gallon milk jug, fill if 3/4 full with distilled water ( in case you have lots of minerals in yours) 1/2 cup dawn dishwashing detergent and 1 cup of hydrogen perioxide. You get that near the pharmacy at Walmart-- topical solution . shake it and pour a half cup on your stains... rub with a cloth or brush. My carpet is beige ( neural) and it works great. Just rince warm clear water after . I use this solution in my carpet cleaning machine and it works great. Inexpensive and effective.
