I am in desperate need of an inexpensive solution for privacy for our front porch. I saw your canvas curtains! I wondered if any fabric can be used and do I need to take them down during inclement weather? Thank you. CorinneRC

Use outdoor fabric like Sunbrella. Sometimes fabric stores have coupons to save you some money. That way they stand up to weather and you don't have to take them down in bad weather.

I have read that painter tarps absorb moisture, thus creating mold ...maybe they could be treated with scotchgaurd....

Shower curtains are not only perfect for this as suggested by Nanz, but they are also an inexpensive way to upholster fabric for any outdoor furniture cushion!

I just bought sun zero outdoor curtains from Amazon they want about 16.97 apiece. I needed 18 of them -they will let a little little bit of light through but they are very good for privacy and they have different colors and have grmoment at the top

We have roleup bambo shades on our front porch. You get good light, and when not in use or the weather gets bad just role them up.We live in the south and get alot of sunlight. With these you don't have to worry about rot.
