Will Fox Tail Fern grow in full sun?

shade only also, no ferns like full sun....

I have some ferns that I planted in a shady area and they spread out into the sunny area like crazy! Every spring I dig up several and throw them out or compost them. I'm sorry but I don't remember what their name is, but there are ferns that love the sun. Don't give up looking, just be prepared to have them put out runners and spread all over.

foxtail fern is not a true fern. It is a form of asparagus fern and has under ground bulblike structures. It will stand up in the sun and will do better there than in the shade.
