Hello,
I have my bathroom sink with pedestal just outside the bathroom door as my bathroom is small enough. I have no counter in it. i have a glass shelf, a towel rack and a cabinet which is again placed a bit high. I want some nice and handy storage ideas for cleaning items as well as soaps etc. Can anyone advice please ?

Studs in houses are usually 16" on center. You could remove some drywall between the studs and place a cabinet (or wood box) in the space, trim out the space on the outside and mount a cabinet door to the trim for recessed storage? Be sure to be careful of in wall electrical whenever cutting drywall (don't try to put cabinets in line with outlets or lights)

Moxie's idea for recessed storage is great . Or maybe you could get some small crates or wood boxes add wheels , stain or paint and a decorative or padded top that you could store supplies in and push under sink as decor when not needed.

Is it possible to put a shelf above the door? If the bathroom is really small a shelf between the walls over the doorway would be great for storage of TP, soap and cleaning supplies

Baskets mounted above the toilet, or baskets hung with hooks from a rod mounted above the toilet. Check Pinterest for inspiration.

A picture would help. I like Becky's suggestion and also suggest wood crates from the local craft store. They can e painted or stained to match your décor. A lot of options.
