What are the best cages to make for veggies? ( tomatoes, peppers....)

    Either wrap with chicken wire (being careful- edges are sharp), or buy tomato cages(inexpensive and can be used from year to year). Either will allow plants to grow "through". Good luck!

    Tomato cages will work for the peppers and tomatoes but not for cucumbers or zucchini .Train the cucumber on a trellis.

    I like the hinged trellises, that you can make into a triangle or square cage. They're expensive, but they last forever.
