SPRING IS LATE IN ATLANTA!

It finally got warm enough to start planting...then another record breaking cold snap down in low 50's!!! Then RAIN! But during those few warmer days, we did get some things done. It sure has been a rocky spring this year!

HAPPY PLANTING EVERYONE!

This is a project I had my son build for me. I could never get this area to thrive; some concrete from foundation just beneath the dirt so he made me a planter box. It should thrive with Caladium soon! Of course they won't even peek out until it get really warm!
I cleaned up an old planter and filled it with some very pretty non-blooming "greens"...I may did leave room for a couple of colorful Caladium to be transplanted into the center of this after they come out!

My Zoysia is looking GREAT! I should all be greened up as soon as we get some hotter weather.

Thanks, spring has been weird here this year too! We had lows of 53 last week...record breaking low temp for the highs for May too! Zoysia likes heat but is about 85-90 percent greened. I use True Green so I do not have weeds. I gave up years ago trying to win over the weeds...it is much cheaper to use a service and not have to worry!!!
