Years ago, I read a book on making our own lawn food...

I believe it had beer, ammonia, and I believe dish soap and a few other ingred.. Does anyone have that recipe or remembers the name of the book?

Don't know the book, but I have seen this lawn "homebrew" suggested several times - one can of regular sugary soda, one can of bear, ½ cup ammonia, ½ cup liquid dishwashing soap and ½ cup mouthwash. Only use it during hot months, and don't overdo the ammonia. Good luck Cathie.

Search Jerry Baker. This is one of his recipes. He has many books re: lawn & garden.
