I need to replace some broken bricks in my fireplace and don't want to replace all of them? How can I make the new bricks not stand out?

Would you think of giving them a paintjob afterwards so that they all look the same?

Have you thought of trying to get some reclaimed bricks? You might try to source out your local masons lodge (after all, they are masons among them believe it or not). Or try sourcing a brick or stone yard.

Those reclaimed materials have to go somewhere. Sometimes you can even get them for free if you only need a few.
