DIY Office Reveal... With Shiplap!

The DIY Playbook
by The DIY Playbook
This space used to be a guest room but because we live in a small home, we transitioned it into an office because we knew we would get a LOT more use out of it. So we took out of all of the furniture and set out to create a space that was functional yet still very stylish!
And after a few DIY projects and a few new versatile pieces, this space is now one we LOVE and get a lot more use out of. We chose a tall marble table in order to have an option for a standing desk. By simply moving the chair, this desk can transition into a standing desk.
Then we splurged on these shelves because we wanted the space to be functional. What we LOVE about the shelves is that they offer file storage in those drawers. We also use them for a lot of secret storage because the shelves are filled with decorative boxes and lots of canisters/jars. These items look like they are decorative but they are secretly very functional too! From extra printer cartridges to extra stamps and office supplies, these essentials are hidden in plain sight, which is one of my favorite parts of this entire room!

Outside of the shelves, we DIY-ed a shiplap accent wall in this space... for less than $100! Then we added some of our favorite photography, which was another affordable way to add our own touch of style.
On the other side of the room, we created this DIY fauxdenza that offers SO much hidden storage. Believe it or not, our printer hides in this cabinet. Having such an office staple (and eye sore!) hidden away makes this space still very functional yet looking a lot more stylish.
To add even more function and style into this space, we created this DIY Barn Door. We LOVE how it adds style but also allows us larger access to the closet behind this door.

Love your room you did a great job. Could you tell me where you bought the box with the six drawers?
