If you are talking about mini blinds, I have seen tutorials on how to make roman shades with them in the fabric of your choice, they look awesome and I am thinking of doing one myself!

I have seen where they have painted a design on mini blinds that is seen when they are closed and some have fuses fabric to roll-up blinds.

I've seen wallpaper and contact paper on roll up blinds . One of my favorites was a stencil of a beautiful old English monogram .
