Grass always has lines in it. If you mean painting a lawn in a picture, then you can paint this area, and the closer the grass is to you, then you can begin to show small lines. The closer to you, the more lines will be needed. It is just like looking out the window, all the grass has lines, but it is the grass up close to us, that we can see more clearly. Best wishes, J.

Check with your nearest paint store. I believe grass cloth is vinyl? The seams all show on mine and look like they would still show once painted. There may be something you can apply to the seams before painting. Please post your results for myself and others.
