Smoke trees will get big over time.If you prefer there are smoke bushes that will not get as big.They are not a messy bush.All the is needed when planting is peat moss in the bottom of the hole.
it is impossible for me grow one because the deer never allow them to grow an inch.
I just bought a tiny one (about 12" tall with 8 leaves). So far I have it in a medium size pot till it gets bigger. I also need info on how long it takes to grow, etc. I guess Google could help but I thought someone here might have some great idea's.
smoke trees are easy to grow, but are easy to break in a storm or high winds....start it with regular sprayings of miracle grow.
